Jamboree Ball

Two beautiful ballrooms and two additional dance floors will let you explore the areas of the Roarin’ 20s to the Rockin’ 50s. Experience the exuberant feeling from the golden 20s through the swinging 30s and 40s to the wild 50s: sizzling nights with elegant people and cool attitudes, dressed up in vintage clothing, petticoats or suits. Paired with the rooms of the Deutsches Theater, this offers an impressive setting for another great evening of music, dance, shows and contests.

You can dance all night long, listen to thrilling music, take a trip down memory lane, drool over the musicians, or just plunge into the special atmosphere. Watch the contestants at the Boogie Woogie Cup and the teachers at the Teacher Jack'n'Jill striving to impress the audience and get impressed by the Vintage Dance Show of the Champions that will climax with the Killer Boogie . The special highlight will be the Great Jamboree Revue where the singers of the various bands will sing with the NP Big Band.

If you are new to Swing dancing you can join a introduction Swing Dance class before the live music starts. You can choose between an introduction in Boogie Woogie, Lindy Hop, and Charleston. In these classes you will learn the basics and a few steps to make sure that you can join all the crazy Hep Cats on the dance floor.
